ap102 on Put an end to No Child Left Behind

I agree NCLB, has had many shortcomings. In some areas it is destroying school systems and students, and in other areas it is giving benefits to school that clearly do not need them. Though being the optimistic individual that i am, NCLB is not a failure. We see the mistakes that it has presented and the positives it has brought about. It has brought about a teacher accountability, and puts pressure on students which i believe is needed in the class room. It has ruled out the responsibly of parents and their role in the school system which is wrong.

It is tough to say where NCLB will be going but i have faith and confidence in that a new administration will bring in new ideas and see different ways to improve NCLB. I don't believe that we should give up or even see this as a failure, it is a work in progress that needs to be reformed.
