We need innovation.  —  9 months ago

The best way to be "green" is not necessarily to go back to living in the wilderness and stop living our 21st-century lives, but to innovate and create new, environmentally-friendly technology. If the industrial revolution kick-started global warming, an eco-industrial revolution will get us out of it.

Alternative-fuel cars (along with ideas like WeCar {http://wecar.com/} and ZipCar {http://www.zipcar.com/index}) are a start, but we need to do much much more.

the problem with alt-f cars is that it takes more energy to make them than to make regular cars (from what I understand), at least what we have right now. I think we need to move away from the more spread out communities and start living in closer groups. It's healthier and more enviro-friendly to walk to the store than to drive or even take the bus.

I know jack about making cars work better, but I like their tag line.
