I hate it when people condemn a book because it has complex syntax and vocabulary that has more than two syllables. A book is not badly written if it does not follow the conventional, formulaic (read: trite) story lines. Get away from the vanilla fairy tales please, open up your minds! Or...you know, just read something that doesn't have pictures...
