This is one of the most important parts of For A Better America. Read what other users have written, reply to their Thoughts, and if you have something new to say, create your own Thought here. This is your opportunity to tell people how you feel about this idea, and more importantly, to tell them why you feel that way.

While I don't necessarily have all the facts and data for you, I can say that our education system from Kindergarten through college needs to be looked at more seriously and comprehensively. Costs, results, processes, teachers, students, parental involvement and classes all need to be reviewed because a strong education is essential. I believe it may have been Thomas Jefferson who said a well educated citizenry is essential for an effective democracy. It always sounds elitist when discussing the "common man" as not as smart as you, but I think everyone can agree that no matter what intellectual ability an individual has their education could've been better in some way or another
