    Renewable energy- a big hurdle, but great potential  — 9 months ago

    Restructuring the energy grid around renewable energy- wind, geothermal, solar, tidal, etc- would reduce many of our greenhouse gas emissions, while making our country energy independent. This is an exciting idea, and must happen in one form or another to combat global warming, but requires an immense investment to drive down the cost of renewable energy, as well as building new energy infrastructure.
